Awards
The $5,000 NRS Foundation Grand Award will be chosen from the first-place Emerging Artist Stream winners in each of eight disciplines - vocal, piano, strings, classical guitar, woodwinds, brass, percussion, and musical theatre.
Emerging Artist Stream - 1st and 2nd Place awards in vocal, piano, strings, classical guitar, woodwinds, brass, percussion, and musical theatre - $2,000 and $1,500, respectively.
Developing Artist Stream - 1st and 2nd Place awards in vocal, piano, strings, classical guitar, woodwinds, brass, percussion, and musical theatre - $500 and $250, respectively.
Non-Competitive Education Stream - Participants receive a certificate indicating the standard of their performance [platinum, gold, silver, bronze]
Ensemble Stream
1st Place Chamber Ensemble award in junior, intermediate, and advanced classes - $500
1st Place Choral award in 7 classes for Canada's school and community choirs - $500
1st Place Band and Orchestra award in 8 classes for Canada's school and community instrumental ensembles - $500
Composition Stream - Participants receive a certificate indicating the standard of their performance [platinum, gold, silver, bronze]
