Sponsorship Opportunities
The Federation of Canadian Music Festivals is a grass-roots organization that identifies, encourages and develops Canada’s young classical musicians through our affiliated provincial associations and their local festivals. All festivals are run primarily by volunteers.
Your assistance in this vital work of supporting our emerging artists would be greatly appreciated!
Advertising
FCMF offers competitive advertising rates for its publications [Annual Digest, Competition Program and Più Mosso newsletter]. This is an ideal way for Music Conservatories, Universities with music programs, music stores and other related businesses to let our constituency and membership know of the services and programs you offer. Learn more about advertising in FCMF publications.
Memorial Donations
FCMF offers the opportunity to make a donation in the memory of a loved one, or to honor someone for the difference they have made in your life or community. Notification will be made to family members or honourees. These donations are tax-deductible. To make a memorial donation.
National Trust Fund
Due to the generosity of past donors and investors, FCMF has two investment funds with the Victoria Foundation from which the interest is used annually to help fund awards. You can contribute to the long-term sustainability of FCMF by contributing to these investments. Learn more.
Legacy
A donation of securities or mutual fund shares is the most efficient way to give charitably. The Canada Revenue Agency does not apply capital gains tax on donations of publicly traded securities. When you sell your shares for cash, you’re responsible for the tax due on the gain, even if you plan to donate the proceeds from the sale. But when you donate your securities directly through CanadaHelps, those capital gains aren’t subject to tax. This means your charity receives a larger gift, and you’ll benefit from a tax receipt for the full value of your eligible securities or mutual funds. Learn more.
Planned Giving
Planned giving is simply “planning to give.” Unlike traditional gifts made from your income, a planned gift is often made from your assets [such as investments or real estate] or from your estate after death. It’s easy to make a gift through your will! After caring for your loved ones, you can continue the legacy of charitable giving that you started in your lifetime. Learn more.
