The FCMF National Music Festival offers virtual
Choir, Band, and Orchestra Classes as part of the Ensemble Stream

The Ensemble Stream's choir, band, and orchestra classes are virtual performances and educational opportunities for Canada's school and community ensembles.
- There are eight choral classes, including a glee/show/musical theatre group
- There are four band classes
- There are four orchestra classes

- Participants receive written adjudication comments and a certificate of participation and placement, where applicable
- Ensemble conductors are invited to participate in a roundtable discussion with their colleagues
- 1st Place Award of $500 is available in each class

Adjudicators at affiliated Provincial Festivals or the Local Stream Qualifying Round may recommend TWO groups in each chamber ensemble class. The adjudicator for each provincial music festival and the Local Stream Qualifying Round is allowed to send 2 extra groups, chosen from across the classes within each section [choir, band, orchestra], with no more than one extra submission per class.
