The Non-Competitive Education Stream is the
FCMF National Music Festival’s
virtual programming for junior-level competitors
July 17-18, 2024

The Non-Competitive Education Stream [NCES] is a virtual performance and educational opportunity.
- Participants in this stream are 18 years and under, playing junior-level repertoire comparable to conservatory grades 4-7
- Classes available in the following disciplines: voice, piano, strings, guitar, woodwinds, brass, percussion, and musical theatre

- Participants receive written adjudication comments and engage with their adjudicator in a virtual adjudication workshop
- Participants receive a certificate indicating the standard of their performance [platinum, gold, silver, bronze]
Adjudicators at each affiliated local festival may recommend TWO junior-level students per class DIRECTLY to the virtual FCMF National Non-Competitive Education Stream. There is no additional qualifying or recommendation process required.
